To make rings like this, I collect my favorite quotes and write them in my hand --pen to paper. I then scan my hand writing into illustrator and use a special paper to create a resist on the silver --much like the process used to create circuit boards. I then use a rectifier and Silver Nitrate to etch the design. After that lengthy process I measure out, craft and clean up the ring.
To be clear, this ring is a little cryptic -the band is cut from the etched quote so you won't be able to read it beginning to end. It's visually ambiguous to anyone unfamiliar with the passage and serves as more of a personal reminder to the wearer.
