For etched jewelry like this, I collect my favorite quotes and write them in my hand --pen to paper. I then scan my hand writing into illustrator and use a special paper to create a resist on the silver --much like the process used to create circuit boards. I then use a rectifier and Silver Nitrate to etch the design. After that lengthy process I then fabricate the jewelry
To be clear, the etched quote is intended to be cryptic -so you won't be able to read it beginning to end. It's visually ambiguous to anyone unfamiliar with the passage and serves as more of a personal reminder to the wearer.
