Self collected Douglas Diamond, sterling, 18" Chain
Douglas Diamonds are a type of field quartz, much like Herkimer Diamonds. They formed over 500 million years in a thermo silica rich environment. They get the nickname "diamond" because of their natural facets. Herkimer Diamonds hail from Herkimer, NY and Douglas Diamonds are found in Tennessee. I find & collect these myself every winter.
